In today's economy, so many brides are budget-conscious.  At Impeccable Planning we understand your desire to save money and still have a stunning event!  That's why we've put together this list of tips and recommended resources:

• Save money and have fun by making your own invitations - why not invite your bridesmaids over and make a party out of it?!

• For reception favors, pick something unique that can also double as the guest seating cards.

• Flowers can become very expensive, so stay simple.  For example, have your bridesmaids carry a single large flower, like a large calla lily with the stem wrapped in elegant ribbon or fabric - or make your centerpieces out of non-traditional materials like fruits, candy, or candles.

• Always make sure your pick flowers that are in season, otherwise you will be paying extra to have them shipped from across the country or globe. 

• Skip the sit-down dinner and choose the buffet option.  Not only will you save significant dollars, but guests will appreciate the freedom of choice.

• While bands can be unique and classy, they can also be expensive!  Many people don't think about the fact that EVERY band member requires income, driving the overall price up.  Instead opt for a DJ - and try to choose one that has their own equipment and lighting.  This could save you from having to hire a separate lighting company.

• Get married in the "off-seasons" (generally the winter and summer months) or get married on a Friday.  While it's becoming less popular anymore, some reception venues and other vendors will offer a discount for these off-times.
